Half-Marathon

Last weekend Kevan and I ran a half-marathon in Champagin! It was difficult. If I do that again I'm going to need to do a better job of training. But it was a lot of fun :)

bathroom makeover

A few months ago, Alex and I started noticing water appearing on the floor in the bathroom, more and more, until it dripped through to the ceiling below! We got my dad out here to assess the situation, and we replaced everything in the bathroom.

Oak Park

Last week when Kevan was here we went to Oak Park and toured Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio. It was great! I'm glad it was mostly inside because it was still pretty cold out. There were a couple of rooms with vaulted ceilings and one in particular I found very compelling. (There is no picture because I could not take pictures and cannot find one on the internet. Sorry!) When I design all of our houses each house shall have a room with a vaulted ceiling. If you are cool with that too. :)
